Join the ReadWriteThink.org team and Verizon Thinkfinity at the 2010 WNET Conference!

The Verizon Foundation is a proud sponsor of the 2010 Celebration of Teaching and Learning—a premier professional development conference for educators. The conference runs March 5–March 6 in New York and is put on by WNET Thirteen and WLIW21. ReadWriteThink.org is proud to be on the session program.

Today’s youth are learning everywhere—in and outside the classroom! With its literacy-focused partners, International Reading Association, National Council of Teachers of English, and National Center for Family Literacy, Verizon Thinkfinity brings free online resources to teachers, parents, afterschool providers, and students.

On March 5, join the ReadWriteThink.org team and the Verizon Literacy Network as they engage participants in an interactive, hands-on scavenger hunt to find a variety and multitude of online resources from podcasts, lessons, teacher and parent tips to student interactives, parent-child activities, and videos. “Learning In and Outside the Classroom With Thinkfinity.org” is at 2:30 p.m. in Concourse G.
