Becky McCraw is a K-5 literacy coach in Gaffney, SC.  She is a former classroom teacher having taught third and fifth grades. She received her undergraduate degree in elementary education from Limestone College, her master's degree in elementary education from The University of South Carolina at Spartanburg, and is currently a doctoral candidate at the University of South Carolina in the area of Language and Literacy.  Her research interest is 21^st century literacy with an emphasis on integrating technology in early childhood classrooms.  She is a former Elementary Representative-at-Large for NCTE, and is a member of both NCTE and IRA.
